I want to see Lady Gaga live so bad…soooooo so bad.
For one, she is pure awesome, and two, she actually sings… most of the time anyway.
My lack of funds and parentals not wanting to supply the needed funds is killing me inside. I am sitting here staring at the Ticketec page and I can’t stand not being able to click the “GET TICKETS” button. I honestly felt a small part of my heart breakaway and die...

End of another school year...FINALLY!
Technically I don't finish year 11 until the 27th but I really couldn't care less. I've been home all this week anyway so the holiday insanity has started to kick in. I'm so bored that I've become incredibly fascinated by Lady Gaga. She is quite an odd person. I prefer the acoustic versions of her songs though because they are more... quirky...? Yes, that's the word. I'm not really into 'pop music' but she is really very good. I’ll consider buying her albums with whatever Christmas money I get.
To be honest the only things I have even semi planned for these holidays is the Green Day concert that I’m going to with Jess, Christmas (but that isn’t even very well planned out yet) and my 17th birthday (but I’m not sure I’m going to do anything for that anyway). The thing is there are HUGE gaps between all those events so I have nothing to do for AGES!
I’m here all buy myself during the day for two more weeks because my sister doesn’t finish for two more weeks, which is good because she will make me want to kill her before the end of her first week at home because she can't stand being alone. She needs constant human contact or someone to be paying some kind of attention to her. I think she might have ADHD but my parents think I’m joking when I say it… I’m not.
Actually, I probably shouldn’t be left by myself either because I lose all my people skills within a week of solitude. But then again I’ve never really had people skills. I usually just stare awkwardly and stay quiet for ages with a few sarcastic comments thrown in at the right moments. Yeah…
Basically that’s all for now. I shall try to blog more often.
Also I shall think of an interesting sign-off for my blog.

1. What author do you own the most books by?
Jo Rowling: 2 Philosophers Stone and Deathly Hallows (I know pathetic I don’t own many books by the same person)
2. What book do you own the most copies of?
I only have one of each book I own. It’s harder to put things in order if I have more than one
3. Did it bother you that both those questions ended with prepositions?
Not really. I don’t pay attention to that stuff most of the time.
4. What fictional character are you secretly in love with?
It would have to be Sophie Neveu from the Da Vinci Code because French people are sexy. Also now that its officially on paper I can say Naboo from the Mighty Boosh (The Mighty Book of Boosh also). You can’t not love a shaman.
5. What book have you read the most times in your life (excluding picture books read to children; i.e., Goodnight Moon does not count)?
The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ (5 times)
6. What was your favourite book when you were ten years old?
Philosophers Stone. My teacher read it to my class and then obsession came over everyone. Some kids even pretended there last name was Potter. This obsession was so bad that the whole class put on a magic show.
7. What is the worst book you've read in the past year?
The whole Twilight series…. It’s just bad writing. Its got a good story going but its just bad bad bad.
8. What is the best book you've read in the past year?
Deathly Hallows. I liked it more than I thought I would.
9. If you could force everyone you tagged to read one book, what would it be?
The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
10. What book would you most like to see made into a movie?
Breaking Dawn. Only because it was the worst of all the Twilight books and therefore will be one of the funniest movies ever.
11. What book would you least like to see made into a movie?
I’m not sure. I didn’t really want any of the Harry Potter’s made into movies because they leave out important things. (Well my friends say they leave out too much.)
12. Describe your weirdest dream involving a writer, book, or literary character.
Seeing as Kristina Horner is currently writing a book it would probably have to be a dream I had a few months ago in which I flew to Seattle and broke into her home but then she came home and as I was trying to leave without being seen I walked behind her as she was vloging and a whole lot of awkward silence and panicked expressions followed until I woke up very very confused.
13. What is the most lowbrow book you've read as an adult?
Only 16. Alsa
14. What is the most difficult book you've ever read?
Probably Twilight. I was so used to the idea of vampires being all creepy and burning up in the sun and fangs that I had a hard time coming to terms with it.
15. What is the most obscure Shakespeare play you've seen?
I saw a version of Romeo and Juliet was funny but rather odd.
It was based on a poem called “THE SENTIMENTAL BLOKE” (google it)
16. Do you prefer the French or the Russians?
I like the French. Mostly because Sophie Neveu is French and because Audrey Tautou, who plays Sophie in the movie, is French and French people are sexy.
I don’t really like any French or Russian writers.
17. Roth or Updike?
I’m not sure really. I can’t choose.
18. David Sedaris or Dave Eggers?
I have yet read either.
19. Shakespeare, Milton, or Chaucer?
Shakespeare. Duh.
20. Austen or Eliot?
Austen!
21. What is the biggest or most embarrassing gap in your reading?
I've only read the first and last Harry Potter books. Oh the shame!
22. What is your favorite novel?
I don’t have a favourite novel as such but The Mighty Book of Boosh takes it hands down! Coolest stuff ever (only if you’ve seen the Mighty Boosh TV series first)
23. Play?
Rocky Horror!
24. Poem?
The Jabberwock. Nonsense. A lot like my Wikipedia articles.
25. Essay?
?
26. Work of nonfiction?
I’m not one for nonfiction. Nonsense is more my style.
27. Who is your favorite writer?
Don’t have one.
28. Who is the most overrated writer alive today?
Everyone except the fan girls know this one.
29. What is your desert island book?
I’d write my own as a creative out let or something.
30. And... what are you reading right now?
To Kill a Mockingbird
Jo Rowling: 2 Philosophers Stone and Deathly Hallows (I know pathetic I don’t own many books by the same person)
