Hot-crossed fun day

Why, hello there internet.
How are we all today? Good? That’s nice.

So, yesterday was what my friends and I have named “Hot-crossed FUN day”. This may require a little ‘history’ lesson. Well, every year whenever a cross country or sports day is scheduled at school my friends and I convince our parents not to go to school (or don’t and still not go to school… wagers). On these days we gather at the lake in our area and have themed day. In 2008 we had International food day and Taco day and last year we had Food on a stick day. This year, because it’s close to Easter we named the day “Hot-crossed fun (bun) day” where everyone brought baked goods to eat. Essentially, on these days we just eat and sit about playing loud music in public places. That was a fun time. We taught my friend Mel what a “dyke” is and then she started using the word dyke so then we had to tell her not to use it as it can be offensive… Oh Mel, I did the Time Warp… sort of… and we all ate far too much food.

I wonder what will occur on Sports Day…
